Along with his childhood friend Ai and kouhai Karen, Kou is a member of the Moriyaji Gakuen public morality committee. He was accosted by a strange entity one day while doing his rounds after school. He was stuck in terror and unable to avoid its attack, but two females, Konoka and Lizera, saved him. They were ‘daemon busters,’ fighting demons spawned of human want and need. They informed him that he was a kyuumashi who had the capacity to absorb the desires that generate daemons and that they needed his assistance because his specific skill made their battles much simpler.
